Faith  Presbyterian  Church is proud to be joining our fellow FACE-UP churches in a special Lenten  Service each  Thursday. Our first service was held March 16 at the Belton Presbyterian Church, where we were blessed by the message  “Not  Free” from host pastor The Reverend Paul Bayerl. Following the brief, but inspiring service, which included scripture readings and congregational singing, we enjoyed a  delicious lunch in the Fellowship  Hall.
Midway  Presbyterian Church was our host on Mar. 23, with their pastor, Dr. John McCallum, inspiring us with his message, “Conformed or Transformed”. That service also included scripture lessons and the singing of traditional Easter songs followed by lunch, which included Midway’s famous Chicken Pot Pie.
This  Thursday, Mar. 30,  we will gather at Faith  Church in Williamston for another time of reflection on this most special season. Our pastor, The Reverend  Aaron  Ochart, will be bringing what promises to be an uplifting message, accompanied by the reading of God’s Holy and Inspired Word and inspirational singing. We invite all of our members and guests to join together for lunch in the Fellowship Hall.
Lickville  Presbyterian  Church, which is on Highway 25 South near Pelzer, will be hosting the final Lenten  Service on  Apr. 6. We extend a warm welcome to everyone in our communities to join us at noon on Thursday as we celebrate Lent.
